The Armenian Parliament approved a law on fines for non-payment of fares on public transport

On July 3, the National Assembly of Armenia approved in the second and final reading a bill providing for fines for non-payment of fares on public transport.

So, in the case of using buses and trolleybuses running on intra-community routes or the metro without paying the appropriate fee, a fine of 15,000 drams will be imposed.

The use of a discounted transport ticket by another person who does not have the right to discounted travel will entail a fine of 18,000 drams.

A fine of 3,000 drams will be imposed in cases where the beneficiary does not use a validator on transport.
