A motion has been filed with the court to extend the detention of businessman Samvel Karapetyan. The Anti-Corruption Court will consider the motion on August 14 at 17:00.
Recall that Samvel Karapetyan was detained on June 18 for two months. He is accused of seizing power and publicly calling for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order. Karapetyan denies the charges brought against him, and his defense claims that the charges brought against him are unfounded.
