Pezeshkian and Erdogan discussed the situation in the South Caucasus within the framework of the SCO summit.
As reported by the Mehr news agency, the Iranian president stated that Tehran supports the agreements reached between Baku and Yerevan aimed at strengthening stability in the region. At the same time, he emphasized that Tehran opposes any foreign military presence in the Caucasus, considering it a threat to peace.
In turn, the Turkish president confirmed that Ankara is holding ongoing consultations with Azerbaijan and Armenia in order to strengthen peace.
