Today, September 10, a tense situation developed in the Kotayk region. Hundreds of residents of Nor Gehi village and several villages blocked the main road of the Nor Gehi-Egvard highway, popularly known as Nor Gehi, as a sign of protest.
The reason is that the residents of the village were not given irrigation water for a long time.
Road traffic in the Abovyan-Egvard direction is completely paralyzed, the traffic jam has stretched over several kilometers. Residents of the village refuse to open the road, saying that they will not open it until the water supply company arrives and gives a clear answer when the water will be supplied.
Residents also declared.
