Russia and the United States continue their dialogue through various channels, but there is currently no clear idea when the next contacts between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump may take place.
This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov to journalists, TASS reports.
“At the moment, there is no idea about the possible dates of a telephone conversation or the next personal meeting. But contacts are indeed continuing through various channels, both through diplomatic channels and between their staffs. This dialogue is continuing, but there are no assumptions about high-level contacts yet,” the Kremlin representative explained.
However, Peskov added, there are all possibilities to organize such a conversation between Putin and Trump promptly, “if necessary and at the decision of the heads of state.”
