Turkey and Azerbaijan are preparing to completely subjugate Armenia’s statehood, and if possible, completely absorb it (yes, essentially, annex it, as they did with Artsakh). Turkologist Varuzhan Geghamyan wrote about this.
Neither Azerbaijan nor Turkey has any serious intentions of peaceful coexistence and neighborliness with Armenia. They claim the opposite, or rather, only they and their minions preach the opposite.
Currently, Turkey and Azerbaijan wield exceptional influence over the ruling regime in Armenia, as a result of which the supposed “reforms” taking place in Armenia (education, army, symbols, etc.) are actually aimed at weakening our already damaged state and furthering the first point.
The ruling regime has only one interest: maintaining power, even if it means a government completely dependent on Turkey. Lies, manipulation, and massive propaganda must ensure the realization of this goal before the elections.
Therefore, the false agenda of the “Fourth Republic” is not to create a new Armenia, but to turn us into a Turkish province, a vilayet. In other words, it will not be a national or cosmopolitan Armenia; it will simply not be an Armenian state.
