2018. So far, there has been a deliberate refusal, capitulation, failure, and weakening. Artak Zakarian

Russian President Vladimir Putin and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Joseph Borrell, also promptly responded to the falsifications spread by Nikol Pashinyan. Artak Zakarian, a member of the RPA Supreme Council and former Deputy Defense Minister, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

He noted, in particular: “It has been recorded at a high international level how and when Nikol Pashinyan recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.

All the facts discussed by the Armenian presidents during the Artsakh negotiation process have also been recorded. This includes the status of Artsakh and the conditions for holding a referendum on it, which would lead to the realization of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination and its international recognition.

Pashinyan should simply continue the logic and principles of the OSCE Minsk Group negotiation process, rather than closing “his zero point,” inventing Munich “principles,” or making statements that would give Baku the right to unleash a war and then take actions leading to complete defeat, recognizing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, thereby providing Baku with a new pretext for renewed military aggression and forced displacement, etc.

Mistakes and ignorance on the same issue happen once or twice, and that’s it. More than three times, it turns into a tendency, an intention, or a planned… conspiracy. In Artsakh and other issues on the national agenda, from 2018 to the present, there have been no naive mistakes or forced exits from a previously created situation. Rather, there has been, and continues to be, a deliberate refusal, capitulation, failure, weakening, and Turkish subjugation of the Armenian factor.
