At the 6th Caspian Business Forum “Along the Middle Corridor: Communications, Finance, and Energy,” held in New York, Hikmat Hajiyev, Aide to the President of Azerbaijan, announced that work on the “Trump Road” has begun in Armenia.
The Aide to the President of Azerbaijan noted that “implementation of the railway project from Baku to Zangilan and the border with Armenia began in 2020” and is scheduled for completion by mid-2026.
“Work is also underway on a 42-kilometer section of the Zangezur Corridor in Armenia. Our American partners are participating,” Hajiyev said, according to haqqin.az.
