“I have no questions for Nikol Pashinyan; I leave this to the investigative bodies. However, taking advantage of the fact that Armenia is the focus of PACE attention this week, I would like to address you, Mr. President, the Secretary General, and the representatives of member states. Please instruct your ambassadors in Baku to visit Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijani prisons.” This was written by Hayk Mamijanyan, leader of the “I Have the Honor” faction.
“Since the closure of the Red Cross office, we and their relatives have had no information about the condition of our compatriots. This is the least you can do for them. Please do this immediately to prove that Europe still believes in humanism.”
I intended to ask Pashinyan precisely this “question” at PACE, but since
the length and content of his speech and the question-and-answer session were the same as the question-and-answer session in the National Assembly, none of the registered MPs were granted the right to ask questions (only questions from political groups).
Despite this, I will find channels to raise and resolve this issue.
