Former Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili planned to enter the presidential palace in Tbilisi if the coup was successful on October 4, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated in an interview with Rustavi 2.

“Salome Zurabishvili was prepared to enter the presidential palace. However, after the coup failed, she abandoned this idea,” the Georgian prime minister stated.

Kobakhidze added that Zurabishvili was among the protesters on the day the rally escalated into an attack on the presidential palace.
