Pashinyan is showing that any position will be taken away by all “legal and democratic” means. Ruben Mkhitaryan

Of the 47,443 voters who took part in the Gyumri local government elections, 30,246 voted against the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and its squeamish dictator. Ruben Mkhitaryan, head of the “My Strong Community” faction of the Gyumri Council of Elders, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

According to him, if we subtract the approximate number of voters led by administrative resources and various “exhortations” from the 17,188 votes collected by the CPRF, the picture becomes even more bleak.

“What Nikol Pashinyan is doing in Gyumri today is actually necessary for him to maintain his authority within his own team and to demonstrate to those preparing to vote for the opposition in the Etchmiadzin elections that, in any case, any position will be taken away and transferred to Nikolastruk by all ‘legal and democratic’ means.

The resolution has been in effect since April 2018: either I will be prime minister, or Armenia will have no prime minister,” Mkhitaryan emphasized.
