During his more than 20-year career, the Portuguese striker played for some of Europe’s most renowned clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus, and secured endorsement deals with major brands including Armani and Nike. However, he became one of the world’s richest athletes thanks to a new contract signed in June with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr worth over $400 million. The 40-year-old Ronaldo has set several records during his career, including becoming Europe’s top scorer in 2018, scoring 85 goals in 152 matches for Portugal. He also became the first player to win five UEFA Champions League finals. In 2015, the Portuguese Football Federation named Ronaldo the best player in the history of the national team.
