Preserving the Russian language in Armenia and passing on its traditions to new generations is of paramount importance, said Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopyrkin at a concert dedicated to Teacher’s Day at the Russian House in Yerevan.
“Language is the foundation of civilization. Preserving the Russian language in Armenia is crucial. Russia attaches great importance to your work,” the ambassador noted.
Vadim Fefilov, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Armenia, emphasized the contribution of teachers to the development of the Russian language, noting that Russian will always be heard in Yerevan and other cities of Armenia.
