CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev reported that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a warm conversation at the CIS summit in Dushanbe, during which they discussed further progress in strengthening peace and security in the region.
“And not only the weather, but also the wonderful, festive atmosphere in Dushanbe contributed to the numerous meetings and discussions yielding positive results.
You saw for yourself that the Armenian Prime Minister and the Azerbaijani President had a very warm conversation here, discussing not contentious issues, but rather how to move forward in strengthening peace and security in the South Caucasus,” Lebedev told reporters after the summit.
