In my 45 years of practice, I’ve never seen a head of state speak so strongly about the Church as Pashinyan. Robert Amsterdam, lawyer for businessman Samvel Karapetyan, stated this today in a conversation with reporters.
“Pashinyan speaks about the Church in a language that doesn’t correspond to the rules of public administration,” said Robert Amsterdam.
As a reminder, yesterday at 6:00 PM, the extension of businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan’s pretrial detention was considered. The hearing was adjourned after midnight at 2:00 AM and resumed today at 3:00 PM. Four hours have passed, and the hearing is still ongoing.
