“During the previous hearings, Levon Mnatsakanyan, David Ishkhanyan, and David Babayan expressed their disagreement with numerous provisions contained in the documents compiled based on statements taken from interviews, online resources, and social networks.
It was clear from the very beginning that Azerbaijan was moving according to a pre-planned scenario and mood, but it is important that the Armenians who have the status of hostages on the ground resist as much as possible and demonstrate the wretchedness of the Azerbaijani accusation and the falsifications accompanying the “trial.”
David Ishkhanyan even demanded that the court present them with the secret order attributed to former Defense Army commander Kamo Vardanyan, because it was read out at the trial, but there is no evidence to prove its authenticity.
The Armenian authorities’ indifference to the course of the fake trial in Baku has freed Azerbaijan’s wings to freely create and attribute a large number of falsehoods to a large number of state figures, military personnel, and devotees of the national liberation struggle of Armenia and Artsakh.
