It should be noted that as a result of extensive operational and investigative measures and covert investigative actions conducted by the Operational and Investigative Department of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, evidence was obtained regarding the solicitation and acceptance of bribes by the head of the Gyumri community and the chief architect with prior consent.
As part of the criminal case, decisions were made to initiate public prosecution and arrest eight individuals, including the head of the community.
