The government presented its report in its own terms. Abrahamyan on the 44-day report

For three years, the government has been declaring from every platform possible the creation of an “investigative commission” in the National Assembly to examine the circumstances of the 44-day war and that answers would be provided to all questions—from territorial and human losses to diplomatic failures. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, Secretary of the “I Have the Honor” faction, during his statements in the National Assembly.

“Besides the fact that the government deliberately failed to demonstrate consistency and the report was not prepared within the established deadline, and, consequently, the National Assembly plenary session did not take place, a review of this document also reveals that some of the accusations, insults, and threats that the government had hurled at various points were either omitted from the report or were addressed very briefly and with reservations,” he noted.

Abrahamyan stated that all the officials presented in the report, accused of various serious charges, were appointed by the current government.

“I will not touch upon the introductory and, to a certain extent, the artistic portion of the final section of the report. This is the same person’s language, expressed from various platforms, including this very podium, which, as a rule, lacks any facts. However, even these massive distortions did not allow the government to conceal the true culprits of the tragic war, namely, Pashinyan, who stands at the apex of the pyramid,” noted the secretary of the “I Have the Honor” faction.

He added that there is nothing surprising about the current government’s situation. Those they previously hailed as heroes are now portrayed as criminals, and those they previously slandered are glorified.

“There is a well-known saying that resonates very characteristically these days: the main thing is not to contradict yourself during the preliminary investigation.” Why did I recall this now-popular phrase? “Because, having discarded various contradictory, unfounded, and slanderous formulations, the government, with its report, went its own way,” noted Tigran Abrahamyan.
