Israel has informed the US that it does not want to see Turkish troops in Gaza, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said during a press conference with his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó.
“Countries that want to send troops must be fair to Israel. They must not show hostility towards our country. Under Erdogan, Turkey is taking a hostile stance not only with rhetoric but also with diplomatic and economic actions. Therefore, allowing their troops to enter Gaza is unwise, and we have conveyed this to our American friends,” the Israeli Foreign Minister said.
Recall that during his visit to Hungary, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó at the Puskás Arena in Budapest.
Saar and Szijjarto had a personal meeting, followed by an expanded working meeting of their delegations, followed by a joint press conference.
