The spiritual pastor of the Aparan parish, Father Mushe Vahanyan, today addressed the defrocked Stepan Asatryan and Vardan Hunanyan with words of shame.
“Shame on you, you who were once priests, I have nothing to say,” Father Mushe told reporters.
The father emphasized that “Stepan Asatryan prepared all this food.”
“I tell him: shame on you, there is no manliness there, no priesthood there. Let all who approve of and believe in his priesthood see all this and draw their own conclusion: how can a priest who can testify against his leader act as a priest,” Father Mushe said.
Father Mushe assured that Stepan Asatryan and Vardan Hunanyan were loved and accepted as brothers, and there was no question of any discrimination.
Father Ay apologized to Stepan Asatryan’s mother and father: “I must apologize to his parents. Yes, their son is a traitor; he destroyed the world.”
