The Islamic Republic of Iran plans to expand cooperation with neighboring countries in the political, economic, cultural, and even security spheres, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated at the International Conference of the Heads of Caspian States.
“The Caspian Sea is as important to us as the Persian Gulf,” the minister noted.
According to him, the Caspian states have begun joint cooperation, emphasizing mutual understanding and the importance of this region.
Araghchi emphasized the strategically important ties between Iran and Russia, adding that Iran maintains very good relations with all Caspian region countries.
