Macron reminded Trump of his unfulfilled promise to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours.
“I note that in other democracies, even the most insignificant ones, where some candidates declared that everything would be over in 24 hours and perhaps there was no longer any point in supporting Ukraine, a confrontation with reality could change the situation,” the French president said at a press conference with Zelenskyy.
As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in France yesterday on an official visit. During the meeting, Zelenskyy and Macron signed an agreement between France and Ukraine on the supply of aircraft, missiles, and air defense systems.
