An armed attack on Poland is being prepared, stated Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army, General Wiesław Kukula, according to gazeta.ru.
“The enemy has begun preparing for war. Conditions are being created that facilitate possible aggression on Polish territory,” the general noted.
According to him, the enemy is attempting to undermine the Polish population’s trust in the government, as well as in the armed forces and police. Kukula emphasized that everything now depends on the country’s position, on whether the authorities can restrain the enemy or, conversely, push it toward aggression. The general did not specify which enemy he was referring to.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk described the damage to the Dęblin-Warsaw railway leading to Ukraine as sabotage.
