Although Pashinyan claims this is “the best period in the last 500 years,” data from the Statistical Committee shows rising poverty, high unemployment, and thousands of families struggling to even pay their utilities. This is what the “Our Way” movement said in a statement.
“We are here to remind everyone that Armenia deserves a leader who is not divorced from reality, connected to his people, and who fights for their interests, not his own,” the statement reads.
