A group of citizens gathered in front of the Artsakh Diocese building in Yerevan demanding the head of the diocese apologize for his meeting with Nikol Pashinyan.
“The head of the Artsakh Diocese has no moral right to meet with the person responsible for the transfer of Artsakh. There may be compromising information against Bishop Vrtanes, I don’t know. Perhaps he was blackmailed; let him explain what happened,” lawyer Roman Yeritsyan told reporters.
Lawyer Ruben Melikyan also stated that they are simply demanding a meeting with Bishop Vrtanes to obtain an explanation.
