The German Foreign Minister called on China to use its influence to bring Moscow to the negotiating table.
“No other country has as much influence over Russia as China and can use its weight so effectively to finally make Russia ready for serious negotiations that respect Ukraine’s sovereignty.
We are interested in China contributing to the establishment of a just and lasting peace in Ukraine,” Johann Wadephul said in Berlin before leaving for China.
