Russia welcomes Turkey’s desire to contribute to a peaceful resolution of the situation in Ukraine, stated Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“In his speech, the Turkish President spoke of Turkey’s readiness and desire to continue mediation efforts and contribute to the peace process, which our country welcomes,” Peskov told reporters.
The Russian Presidential Press Secretary also added that the leaders of Central Asian countries participating in the International Forum on Confidence-Building Measures and Peace in Ashgabat barely mentioned Ukraine in their speeches.
