Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered his opening speech at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, noting that the EAEU brings tangible benefits to each of its member states.
“The EAEU has firmly established itself as a self-sufficient center of the emerging multipolar world. Today’s meeting will discuss a number of decisions aimed at further deepening cooperation within the union. Partnership within the union ensures economic stability for the five countries,” Putin said.
According to him, developing cooperation within the EAEU contributes to economic stability throughout the region, which is important in unstable times.
