December 28 at 2:06 PM, the crisis management center of the Shirak Regional Rescue Department received a report of an accident on the Gyumri-Azatan highway with injuries.
A fire brigade from the Regional Rescue Department of the Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs responded to the scene.
It was discovered that a Mercedes-Benz and a Lada collided on the first kilometer of the Gyumri-Azatan highway. The body of a passenger was found outside the Mercedes-Benz.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was taken to a medical center.
Rescuers extricated the passenger from the Lada and transported him to an ambulance. The injured man was taken to a medical center.
Rescuers cordoned off the area, cut off power to the vehicles, closed the gas cylinder valves, and removed two bodies from the vehicles.
