The US will impose 100% tariffs on Canadian goods if Ottawa reaches a deal with Beijing, US President Donald Trump said.
“If Governor Carney thinks he’s turning Canada into a ‘port of entry’ for China to ship goods to the US, he’s mistaken.
China will swallow Canada whole, completely destroy it, including its economy.
If Canada reaches a deal with China, it will immediately face a 100% tariff on all Canadian goods entering the US,” Trump wrote.
