Henrik Danielyan advises Ruben Rubinyan to remain silent

The Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Armenia, Henrik Danielyan, responded to the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan:

“Ruben Rubinyan is trying to compare his years in power with those of Serzh Sargsyan, citing figures and attempting to justify his disastrous rule with them, presenting it as a great achievement. However, if we are talking about figures, we must speak of the complete, objective, and undistorted reality, not selective facts.

If Rubinyan wants to talk about figures, he should add the following undeniable facts to his figures:

During Serzh Sargsyan’s rule, Artsakh was entirely Armenian.

11,500 square kilometers of territory were under Armenian control.

120,000 Armenian civilians in Artsakh lived in their homeland, without blockade, without famine, without the threat of ethnic cleansing.

In those years, the current representatives of your government, including Alen Simonyan, clearly and openly declared: “Artsakh is our homeland.” Moreover, Alen Simonyan also considered Aghdam his homeland.

During your reign, the same 120,000 Armenians were subjected to ethnic cleansing as a result of the misguided, failed, and capitulative policies of the government led by Nikol Pashinyan.

These people did not emigrate. They were forcibly evicted. Their homes, lands, and historical homeland were simply handed over to Azerbaijan.

And speaking of numbers, Rubinyan is obliged to mention one more:

The ruined lives of 5,000 young people after the 44-day war of 2020.

5,000 young people who, as a result of the government’s illiterate, irresponsible, and bankrupt policies, can no longer live in Armenia. Not because they emigrated, but because they are no longer alive.

Given all these facts, one thing becomes clear:

Under these circumstances, “comparison” is no longer political manipulation, but outright cynicism.

And, understanding all of the above, the least one can do is remain silent.
