Sevak Khachatryan, head of the “Haghtanak” faction of the Vagharshapat Council of Elders, wrote:
“Crackdowns against various individuals with opposition views began in Vagharshapat early this morning.
Searchs and arrests are still ongoing.
According to our information, five individuals have been arrested so far.
The Communist Party’s concerns remain in Vagharshapat.”
