In yesterday’s interview, Nikol Pashinyan made a number of noteworthy, if not outright, admissions, wrote Armen Ashotyan, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

“No matter how much this regime boasts about Armenia’s sovereignty, Nikol openly and happily linked Armenia’s future existence to a foreign state and the logistical program that that state was supposed to implement.

This admission testifies to the exhaustion of Armenia’s statehood, the possibility of being under foreign protectorate, and a crisis of sovereignty.

This is the foreign policy of a state that has lost its former glory, where there can be no talk of real independence and sovereignty.

Pashinyan’s second admission concerned the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The campaign he waged against the Church, although it was initially clear that it pursued purely political goals disguised by moralizing arguments, was initially justified as overtly political by Nikol himself.

Nikol directly conditioned the repression of the Church on a plan to enslave and subjugate it.

3. Regarding the delimitation of Khoseliv, Pashinyan acknowledged that this is a very lengthy process, and therefore Azerbaijani troops are illegally present in…” Armenian territory could remain on our lands for decades to come, if they ever leave.

4. Some “exclusive” information about the TRIP has also emerged. Thus, from Nikol’s words, it became clear that its width will be at least 500 meters, meaning approximately 22 square kilometers of our state territory will be transferred to foreign control.

5. Moreover, it turns out that in areas bordering the TRIPP, it is also possible to conduct “delimitation by order,” approximately 1.5 kilometers on each side (including Nakhchivan).

In that case, why can’t such a priority delimitation be carried out in the areas occupied by Baku?

“Is this possible for the TRIPP, but not for Jermuk?” Ashotyan wrote.
