I know a doctor who was prescribed 19,000 drams. Sonographer Karina Agalaryan reported this during a protest outside the National Assembly building regarding the risks of health insurance.
“There are queues now, a shortage of codes, many problems, and we want our voice to be heard. I’ve seen it myself, and many doctors write online that they were prescribed 25,000-50,000 drams. These are real photos, no exaggeration.
Citizens are very happy with health insurance, they understand, but the source of the problem is the doctors who implement this powerful idea. Doctors’ working conditions need to be reviewed. We want to submit a petition to the National Assembly so that a hearing can be held,” she noted.
It’s worth noting that a group of medical workers is protesting outside the National Assembly building. They note that after the introduction of the health insurance system, a decrease in the salaries of medical workers was recorded due to changes in the salary calculation mechanism.
