Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of All Georgia has been transferred to a medical center due to his deteriorating health.
The Patriarch was hospitalized with gastrointestinal bleeding.
“The bleeding has stopped. The patient’s hemodynamic parameters are currently unstable and require attention. He is in the intensive care unit. Doctors are monitoring his condition,” the medical center’s director said.
