Mher Sedrakyan’s son’s company has signed a contract worth $1.9 million with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

This information, which discusses the contracts signed with “Bidek” LLC and the renovation of the Armenian Genocide Memorial, highlights the significance of public procurement in construction projects and recent developments.

The organization of renovation work for the museum aims to address long-standing issues that have not been resolved for years. This suggests that, ultimately, investments are being made for the preservation of one of the most important symbols of Armenian history.

On the other hand, it’s worth noting that the connections between “Bidek” LLC and its founders with politics and other public institutions may raise questions within public discussions and opinions. It is essential that the public procurement system operates transparently and fairly, which can foster public trust.

Additionally, the lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office against the Sedrakyan family speaks to broader issues concerning the protection of state interests and the workings of the legal system. All these aspects indicate that Armenian society is at a critical crossroads, where it is necessary to consider both historical values and the principles of justice.
