Taiwan’s armed forces recorded the approach of 27 flying objects and 9 vessels from the People’s Liberation Army of China in one day, according to the island’s defense ministry.
Additionally, five ships from Chinese state agencies were detected in the vicinity of Taiwan within 24 hours.
The report notes that 15 flying objects crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the island’s air defense identification zone in the northern, central, and southwestern regions.
In response, the Taiwanese military deployed aircraft, ships, and ground-based missile defense systems to monitor the targets.
