At least 64 Palestinians have been killed in the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, Qatari television channel Al Jazeera reported.
Most of the casualties were recorded in the north of the Palestinian enclave, where a six-day siege has forced the United Nations to close schools turned into shelters and hospitals.
The channel notes that since October 7, 2023, 42,010 people have been killed and 97,720 injured as a result of Israeli military aggression against Palestine.
