Iran’s UN mission says US may take part in any Israeli aggression against Tehran.
“The United States will bear full responsibility for its role in instigating any act of Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as for the disastrous consequences that threaten regional and international peace and security,” the Iranian delegation said in a letter to the UN Security Council.
Iran’s mission accused US President Joe Biden of “tacitly approving” and “openly supporting Israel’s illegal military aggression against Iran” for statements he made during a briefing in Berlin on October 18, during which the American leader said he was well aware of how and when Israel would respond to an Iranian missile strike.
In the letter, Iran’s UN mission also called on the Security Council to “unequivocally condemn this reckless provocation” and demanded that the US use its considerable influence to force Israel to immediately stop the war in the Gaza Strip and attacks in Lebanon.
