The Lebanese Hezbollah movement has called for the immediate evacuation of 25 Israeli settlements and towns in northern Israel amid Tel Aviv’s invasion of southern Lebanon, Al Manar reports.
In a video released by Lebanese media, the movement warned residents of the affected areas to leave them immediately.
Hezbollah’s message specifically mentioned such towns as Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Rosh Pina and Katzrin.
According to the movement’s statement, these areas have become “bases and staging areas for enemy forces attacking Lebanon,” making them “legitimate military targets” for its air and missile units.
Following the warning, several municipal councils in northern Israel reportedly decided to close schools, moving classes online due to increased security risks.
