The UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Ukraine will be held on October 30. This was announced to journalists by the Permanent Mission of Switzerland, which is the Chairman of the Security Council in October.
“A meeting on maintaining peace and security in Ukraine will be held on October 30. It was requested by Ukraine with the support of the United States, France, Great Britain, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Slovenia and Malta,” the diplomatic mission emphasized.
For October 31, the Russian mission requested a “meeting at the UN Security Council on the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine and their consequences for the prospects for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.”
