On the night of October 29, the Russian Armed Forces attacked regions of Ukraine using attack drones and missiles.
Kyiv was attacked by Shahed drones, said the head of the city military administration, Sergei Popko. According to him, the air defense forces neutralized the drones, but the UAV debris fell in the Solomensky and Svyatoshinsky districts.
In the Solomensky district, as reported, as a result of damage to a gas pipeline by debris on a nine-story residential building, a store and three cars caught fire. According to preliminary data, five people were injured, one of them was hospitalized. In the Svyatoshinsky district, windows were knocked out in a three-story administrative building, there is no information about the victims.
At 02:51 Kyiv time (03:51 Moscow time), Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kharkiv, said the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov. According to him, the missile hit a residential building in the Osnovyansky district of the city. One building was destroyed, 19 were damaged. According to the latest data, four people were killed as a result of the strike on Kharkov.
Terekhov stated that the Russian military used a Grom-E1 air-launched guided missile for the strike. Terekhov did not provide evidence. There is no independent confirmation of this information. Initially, the head of Kharkov claimed that it was a guided aerial bomb.
