Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi 15 Pro flagship smartphone, which is based on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the iXBT website reports.

The smartphone received a 6.73-inch 2K OLED screen, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a maximum brightness of 3200 nits and Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, which is 25-30% more shock-resistant than the previous version.

The new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is responsible for the smartphone’s performance, which is considered the most powerful used in mobile phones, and the Xiaomi 15 series are the first devices to use these chips. RAM can be 12 or 16 GB, and built-in – 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB.

The 6100mAh battery supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Magnetic wireless charging, like Apple’s MagSafe, is also planned, but only with the appropriate cases.

The feature of Xiaomi 15 Pro is the proprietary Xiaomi Networkless Function technology, which allows communication with other users of the same smartphone at a distance of up to 3.5 km in the absence of mobile network coverage. Other features of the smartphone include: Wi-Fi 7 support, USB 3.2 Gen 2 connector, stereo speakers, four microphones, powerful vibration motor and IP68 protection.

The operating system is HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. In China, the Xiaomi 15 Pro costs 5,299 yuan (about $742).
