Kremlin denies Putin-Trump phone call

The Kremlin has denied media reports of a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported, citing its sources, that Putin and Trump had a telephone conversation on November 7 and discussed, in particular, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. According to the publication, Donald Trump advised Vladimir Putin not to escalate the ongoing war in Ukraine and reminded him of the large US military presence in Europe.
