The Rescue Service informs that there are closed and impassable highways in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
The highway from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to Lake Kari is closed.
The Vardenyats mountain pass is impassable for trucks with a trailer, only if tire chains are used.
There is black ice in places on the highways of the highlands of Syunik region, Gegharkunik, Lori regions, Aparan, Aragats regions and the city of Artik.
Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
