As of December 17, at 19:40, there is a blizzard in the Artik region, from the Sevan Peninsula to the beginning of the Dilijan tunnel, on the Alagyaz-Artik highway, in the section called “Zanger” in Sisian and in the Vardenyats mountain pass, with black ice in places.
There is black ice in places on the bends of Tigranashen. Drivers of vehicles with trailers are advised to use tire chains when traveling through the Vardenyats mountain pass.
All interstate and republican highways are open. Road builders are carrying out cleaning and salting and sanding works on the highways.
