Oil prices are falling on Thursday after the previous day’s first rise in three sessions.
The price of February Brent futures on the London ICE Futures exchange was $72.92 per barrel, which is $0.47 (0.64%) lower than at the close of the previous trades. On Wednesday, these contracts rose in price by $0.2 (0.3%), to $73.39 per barrel.
WTI oil futures for February on electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell in price by $0.52 (0.74%), to $69.5 per barrel. At the end of the previous session, the price of these contracts increased by $0.37 (0.5%), to $70.02 per barrel.
