At least seven people were killed after a small private plane crashed in western Mexico, reports the Jalisco State civil protection service.
“In the second half of the day on Sunday, the Cessna 207 plane, which had taken off from La Parota, Michoacan State, crashed in a difficult-to-reach forest area,” the aforesaid agency wrote on X.
The police who arrived at the scene reported that they found seven bodies.
The identities of these casualties have not been determined yet.
Rescuers still need to examine the wreckage of the plane to confirm that there were no others on board.
