On Tuesday evening, on the eve of the blessed birthday of Jesus Christ (according to the Catholic version – ed.), Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian met with two families of Armenians who fell during the Holy Defense. This was reported by the Iranian Embassy in Armenia.
He talked with the wife of the deceased Oshavan Ayvazyan Nina Harutyunyan Nakhjevan Tape and the mother of the deceased Gagik Tumanyan Hasmik Mirzayan Garajedagh. The President, highly appreciating the self-sacrifice of the fallen, also expressed gratitude for the patience and fortitude of the latter.
Pezeshkian presented the aforementioned families with certificates of gratitude.
