In a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Hassan al-Shaybani, Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdallah Bou Habib “emphasized Lebanon’s aspiration for strong neighborly relations with Syria’s new government to serve the interests of both nations and their peoples,” reports LBCI.
Also, the two ministers agreed on the necessity of holding a meeting early next year to discuss shared concerns and issues.
